The Southern Missouri Arts Connection (SMAC) will present the work of local up and coming artist Olivia Stephens in a solo exhibit, Strange as Ever, at the SMAC Art Center at 7 Downing Street, Hollister, Missouri, September 1 - 30. She has been SMAC’s Artist in Resident for the past year, a position made possible through grants from Community Foundation of the Ozarks and Springfield Regional Arts Council. The City of Hollister is currently accepting applications for board members to serve on the Park Board. Individuals must be 18 years of age and reside within the City Limits. To improve safety and highlight the beauty of the Historic Train Depot/Community Center, the City of Hollister has been busy adding a sidewalk and clearing overgrown shrubs. In the coming weeks, watch for the installation of a new fence along the railroad tracks and lighting around the Depot.


Registration is now open for the 2023 Color Me Grape 5K. Hosted by the Rotary Club of Hollister and the Hollister Area Chamber of Commerce, kick off their annual Grape & Fall Festival with a fun run. All proceeds from the Color Me Grape 5K will go to support Together Forever, a Skyler Sanders Family Foundation.
