One of the memories many of us have from Christmas is driving around to see the light displays. With Christmas carols on the radio, the anticipation of which home would be the best decorated or visiting a local park to walk through the winter wonderland, light displays are a part of the Christmas traditions for many families. Hollister is a destination for viewing lights, whether part of the Branson Scenic Railway’s Polar Express, or an evening stroll after dinner; our joy for Christmas is shared through our decorations. We are currently seeking donors to help us keep the lighting tradition strong in Hollister. If you are interested in donating to our campaign, please send checks to City Hall, PO Box 638, Hollister, MO 65673, Attn: Christmas Donation Campaign. You may also stop by City Hall to pay in person with cash, check, or credit card. For questions or further details, please contact Denise at dolmstead@hollistermo.gov or at City Hall, 417-337-8315.
