The City of Hollister can be found in the heart of Ozark Mountain Country’s Tri-lakes Region. It is located 35 miles south of Springfield, Missouri on U.S. Highway 65. Hollister shares the shores of Lake Taneycomo with its closest neighbor, Branson, Missouri. It is a 10-minute drive from some of the greatest family entertainment and recreational destinations our nation has to offer. In addition to Lake Taneycomo’s world-class trout fishing, Table Rock and Bull Shoals Lakes offer crystal clear water for boating, swimming and fishing. For an added entertainment bonus, Hollister’s closest neighbor is Branson, Missouri, with its wide variety of entertainment for the whole family. Today, Hollister is not only easily accessible by a 4-lane divided highway system but can now be reached by air service through Branson Regional or Springfield-Branson National Airports
Hollister enjoys high-quality municipal water, sewer and road systems. An abundant, economical supply of electrical energy is our primary source of power. Hollister boasts a progressive city school system that serves not only the City, but also the unincorporated areas that surround the City. We are also the home to the area’s two colleges: College of the Ozarks and Ozarks Technical Community College.
The City of Hollister is working through a system of controlled growth, to diversify its economy while improving the quality of life for its residents. Throughout this process, care is taken to maintain Hollister’s community image as a safe, progressive municipality, working together to improve public value. This vision involves both public and private sector engagement of industry, government and residential development in a dynamic, cohesive process.
The Hollister team would like to speak with you about your next community investment.
