The Southern Missouri Arts Connection (SMAC) will present the work of local artist and College of the Ozarks graduate Valerie Clark in a solo exhibit, Searching for Conviviality, at the SMAC Art Center on historic Downing Street in Hollister. The exhibit will run from August 2-31. An opening night reception for the show will be held Friday, August 2, 6-9 p.m., in conjunction with State of the Ozarks (SOTO) First Friday Art Walk. The City of Hollister Team will be visiting your neighborhood soon to locate meter pits, water valves and manholes as we upgrade our GIS mapping system. With their Rocket Level donation towards our 2024 campaign, the Chamber helped finish out a very successful 2024 donation campaign. The FEMA Shelter at the Hollister Middle School has opened for individuals needing to relocate due to flooding.
