The Southern Missouri Arts Connection (SMAC) will present the work of local artist and College of the Ozarks graduate Valerie Clark in a solo exhibit, Searching for Conviviality, at the SMAC Art Center on historic Downing Street in Hollister. The exhibit will run from August 2-31. An opening night reception for the show will be held Friday, August 2, 6-9 p.m., in conjunction with State of the Ozarks (SOTO) First Friday Art Walk. The FEMA Shelter at the Hollister Middle School has opened for individuals needing to relocate due to flooding.
